Slow cooker honey BBQ wings made with just 4 ingredients, resulting in sticky, sweet, and smoky glazed chicken that falls off the bone.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lb chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken wings in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the BBQ sauce, honey, and minced garlic.
  3. Toss everything together until the wings are evenly coated.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Transfer the wings to a foil-lined baking sheet and broil for 2–4 minutes until the sauce becomes sticky, glossy, and caramelized.
  6. Serve hot with extra honey BBQ sauce brushed over the top.

Notes

  • Let wings sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking.
  • Do not skip the broiling step for the signature sticky glaze.
  • Avoid overcrowding wings on the baking sheet during broiling.
  • Watch carefully during broiling as honey can burn quickly.
  • Flavors deepen overnight; leftovers are excellent.
