Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour: 2 1/4 cups, provides structure for soft, chewy cookies
  • Baking Soda: 1 teaspoon, ensures cookies rise properly
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon, balances sweetness
  • Unsalted Butter: 1 cup, softened, adds richness and tenderness
  • Brown Sugar: 3/4 cup, adds moisture and depth
  • Granulated Sugar: 1/4 cup, for a slight crisp on the edges
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon, enhances all flavors
  • Eggs: 2 large, bind ingredients together
  • Chocolate Chunks: 1 cup, for melty chocolate bites

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. In another, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy, then add eggs and vanilla
  3. Mix dry ingredients into wet, fold in chocolate chunks and caramel bits, scoop dough onto sheets
  4. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers slightly soft
  5. Cool cookies for a few minutes on the sheet before transferring to a cooling rack
  6. Serve warm or store in an airtight container for later enjoyment
