Twix Cheesecake

An indulgent cheesecake layered with chopped Twix bars, swirls of caramel, and topped with silky chocolate ganache. Creamy, crunchy, and irresistibly rich.

Ingredients

  • Graham Cracker Crumbs: 1 ½ cups – Forms the buttery, crisp crust.
  • Butter: 6 tablespoons, melted – Binds the crumbs and adds richness.
  • Cream Cheese: 3 (8 oz) blocks, softened – The smooth, creamy base of the cheesecake.
  • Granulated Sugar: ¾ cup – Sweetens the filling perfectly.
  • Sour Cream: ½ cup – Adds a slight tang and creamy finish.
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 tablespoon – Enhances all the flavors.
  • Eggs: 3 large – Provide structure and richness.
  • Chopped Twix Bars: 1 ½ cups – Adds gooey caramel and crunch to each bite.
  • Caramel Sauce: ½ cup – Swirled into the batter and drizzled on top.
  • Heavy Cream: ½ cup – Used in the ganache for silkiness.
  • Chocolate Chips: 1 cup – Melted into a glossy ganache topping.

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Wrap the outside of a springform pan with foil to prepare for a water bath.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Mix graham crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes and set aside.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Place the springform pan into a larger baking pan. Set aside for water bath.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix in eggs one at a time. Fold in chopped Twix and swirl in caramel sauce.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Pour filling into crust. Pour hot water halfway up the sides of the larger baking pan. Bake 55–65 minutes until center is slightly jiggly.
  6. Finishing Touches: Turn off oven, crack door, and let cheesecake cool for 1 hour. Chill for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Top with ganache (melt chocolate chips with cream), extra caramel drizzle, and more chopped Twix. Slice and savor!
