Ingredients

  • Cornmeal, 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour, 1 cup
  • Granulated sugar, 2/3 cup
  • Baking powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Milk, 1 cup
  • Eggs, 2 large
  • Unsalted butter, 1/2 cup melted
  • Honey, 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and honey until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
