A beautiful and refreshing iced drink with layers of sweet strawberry puree, creamy milk, and earthy matcha. This Strawberry Matcha Latte is café-worthy, customizable, and perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (chilled)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Mash the strawberries with sugar in a bowl until juicy. Let cool completely.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.
  3. Spoon the strawberry mixture into the bottom of a tall glass.
  4. Add ice cubes over the strawberry base.
  5. Slowly pour the chilled milk over the ice.
  6. Gently pour the matcha over the back of a spoon to float on top of the milk.
  7. Garnish as desired and serve immediately with a straw.

  • Use ceremonial matcha for vibrant green color and smoother taste.
  • Pour layers slowly to keep colors distinct.
