Strawberry Lemonade is the ultimate summer refresher, combining ripe strawberries, tart lemons, and just the right amount of sweetness in every icy sip.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups water, divided
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Place a fine mesh strainer over a pitcher and strain the strawberry puree, pressing to extract juice.
  3. Add lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  4. Stir in remaining 3 cups of water. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.
  5. Add ice cubes and mint leaves if using. Let chill for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Serve in chilled glasses garnished with lemon slices or strawberries.

Notes

  • For a fizzy version, replace some water with sparkling water.
  • Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
  • Make extra and freeze into popsicles for a treat.
