This Strawberry Iced Latte is a stunning, refreshing drink layered with homemade strawberry puree, creamy milk, and bold espresso over ice. It’s fruity, smooth, and the perfect coffee shop treat made right at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 12 shots of espresso
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until the berries break down. Let cool slightly, then mash or blend into a puree.
  2. Place 2–3 tablespoons of strawberry puree into the bottom of a tall glass.
  3. Add ice cubes to fill the glass.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk to fill about 3/4 of the glass.
  5. Pour the espresso gently over the back of a spoon to float on top for layered effect.
  6. Stir gently before drinking or leave layered. Enjoy cold.

Notes

  • Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the puree.
  • Chill the glass for better layering and a colder drink.
