A decadent chocolate tart featuring a crisp cocoa-hazelnut crust, silky dark chocolate ganache, and a crown of fresh, vibrant strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 0.25 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 0.5 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 0.5 cups Cold Unsalted Butter
  • 0.75 cups Roasted Hazelnuts, crushed
  • 1.5 cups Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 pound Fresh Strawberries, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pulse flour, cocoa, sugar, and cold butter in a food processor until crumbly. Mix in crushed hazelnuts.
  3. Press dough into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely.
  4. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering; pour over chocolate chips and vanilla. Let sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  5. Pour ganache into the cooled crust.
  6. Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the ganache.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
