Tender slow-cooked chicken tossed in creamy Caesar dressing, tucked into warm tortillas with crisp romaine and Parmesan for a portable, crave-worthy wrap that’s perfect for meal prep or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup thick Caesar dressing
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce, well dried
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10 inch)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional, for toasting wraps)

Instructions

  1. Set the slow cooker to low heat. Place chicken breasts in the insert and pour in chicken broth. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and shreds easily with two forks.
  3. Transfer chicken to a bowl, shred with two forks, and while warm toss with Caesar dressing and lemon juice until evenly coated.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side (brush lightly with olive oil if desired).
  5. Assemble wraps by layering romaine and Parmesan down the center of each tortilla, then add a generous portion of Caesar chicken.
  6. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Slice diagonally to serve warm or chilled.

Notes

  • Note: Toss the chicken with dressing while it is still warm so it absorbs the flavors fully.
  • Use a thick Caesar dressing to prevent soggy wraps.
  • For best texture, keep lettuce separate and dry until just before assembling.
  • Lightly toast the wrapped tortillas in a skillet for extra warmth and a subtle crunch.
