Roasted Garlic Tomato Burrata Caprese

A warm and sophisticated twist on the classic Caprese, featuring sweet roasted cherry tomatoes and mellow garlic paired with creamy, indulgent burrata cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 pints Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
  • 2 balls Burrata Cheese
  • 6 to 8 cloves Garlic, peeled
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 bunch Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, toss the tomatoes and whole garlic cloves with olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread in an even layer and roast for 20 to 25 minutes until tomatoes burst and garlic is golden.
  4. Remove from oven and let sit for one minute.
  5. Nestle the burrata balls in the center of the roasted tomatoes and gently break them open with a knife.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
  7. Serve warm with crusty bread.
