Soft pull-apart pizza sliders baked until golden, filled with rich tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and savory beef pepperoni, finished with a garlic butter topping that makes every bite warm and comforting.

Ingredients

  • Dinner rolls (12 connected rolls)
  • Pizza sauce (1 cup)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese (2 cups)
  • Beef pepperoni slices (1 cup)
  • Unsalted butter (4 tablespoons, melted)
  • Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Dried oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • Sesame seeds (1 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and dried oregano.
  3. Place the connected dinner rolls into the baking dish without separating them.
  4. Slice the rolls horizontally and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then layer the beef pepperoni slices on top.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is fully melted.
  9. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before pulling apart and serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use freshly shredded mozzarella for smoother melting.
  • If the tops brown too quickly, loosely cover with foil for the last few minutes.
  • Serve with extra warm pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
