Ingredients

  • Granulated sugar, 2 cups
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 cup
  • Milk, 1 cup
  • Unsalted butter, 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
  • Salt, 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk and butter to the saucepan and place over medium heat.
  4. Stir gently until the butter melts and the mixture becomes smooth.
