  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • 1½ cups Milky Way bars (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. Spread two-thirds of the brownie batter into the pan evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Dollop over the brownie layer.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top, then swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Press in chopped Milky Way pieces and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until center is set. Let cool in pan, then refrigerate for 1–2 hours.
  9. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Let cream cheese soften to avoid lumps.
  • Don’t overmix the brownie batter to keep it fudgy.
  • Chill before slicing for clean layers.
