A rich and creamy salmon dish, featuring tender salmon fillets in a savory sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh herbs. Perfect for date nights or any special occasion.

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets: 4 fillets (6 ounces each)
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Sun-dried tomatoes: 1/4 cup
  • Heavy cream: 1 cup
  • Chicken broth: 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Add olive oil to the skillet. Once hot, add the salmon fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Assemble the Dish: In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Pour the prepared cream mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Let the sauce reduce slightly for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Finishing Touches: Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Let it cook for another 2 minutes to ensure the salmon is heated through and fully coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve the salmon with a side of vegetables, rice, or pasta for a full meal.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a little heat.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, let it simmer for a few more minutes to reduce.
