  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet, swirling to coat the bottom.
  4. Place shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side.
  5. Pour in the sauce and stir the shrimp to coat evenly as it thickens.
  6. Once shrimp are cooked and the sauce is glossy, remove from heat.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  8. Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or as desired.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add chili flakes or sriracha.
