Sweet and savory glazed carrots with a shimmering honey butter sauce and a touch of fresh parsley.

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine sliced carrots, water, butter, honey, and salt in a large skillet.
  2. Bring to a simmer, then cover and steam for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the lid and increase heat to medium-high.
  4. Cook, stirring frequently, until the liquid reduces to a thick, shiny glaze.
  5. Toss with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Cut carrots on a diagonal for more surface area to hold the glaze.
  • Do not overcook; aim for a tender-crisp texture.
  • Substitute maple syrup for honey if desired.
