Garlic Parmesan Baked Shrimp

Ingredients

  • Shrimp: 1 pound large, peeled and deveined
  • Butter: 4 tablespoons unsalted, melted
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Parmesan Cheese: 1/2 cup freshly grated
  • Breadcrumbs: 1/4 cup panko
  • Parsley: 2 tablespoons fresh, finely chopped
  • Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon fresh-squeezed
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  4. Arrange shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the garlic-parmesan mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque and topping is golden.
  7. Garnish with extra parsley and lemon juice if desired, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pat shrimp completely dry before topping to avoid steaming.
  • Freshly grated parmesan gives the best flavor and texture.
  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
