A whimsical and colorful treat featuring a soft sugar cookie base folded with Fruity Pebbles cereal and finished with a sweet powdered sugar glaze.
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 and 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Fruity Pebbles Cereal (plus extra for topping)
- 1 and 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons Milk
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in 2 cups of Fruity Pebbles cereal by hand.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk together to create a thick glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and immediately top with additional cereal.
