Simple and delicious garlic buttered peas made with frozen peas, fresh garlic, and rich butter. A quick side dish that adds vibrant flavor to any meal in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water or broth (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the butter and let it melt completely.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the frozen peas and stir to coat with the garlic butter.
  5. Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peas are tender and heated through. Add water or broth if needed.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir and taste to adjust seasoning.
  7. Serve warm with an optional extra pat of butter on top.
