These homemade frozen fudge pops are rich, creamy, and packed with deep chocolate flavor. Perfect for summer days or when you need a cool, indulgent treat — no baking required!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together milk, cream, cocoa powder, sugar, cornstarch, and salt over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until fully melted. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then pour into popsicle molds.
  5. Insert sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until solid.
  6. To serve, run molds under warm water for a few seconds and gently release the fudge pops.

Notes

  • Use full-fat milk and cream for the creamiest texture.
  • Tap molds on the counter to remove air bubbles after pouring.
  • Store in a sealed container or bag for up to 2 months in the freezer.
  • Add mix-ins like peanut butter, banana, or espresso for variations.
