A warm, flaky biscuit filled with creamy scrambled eggs, melted cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon. The perfect breakfast sandwich to start your day!

Ingredients

  • Eggs: 4 large – Soft, creamy scrambled eggs are the heart of this sandwich.
  • Cheddar Cheese: 2 slices – Adds richness and gooeyness, melting perfectly on top of the eggs.
  • Bacon: 3 slices – Provides that crispy, salty crunch to contrast with the creamy eggs and cheese.
  • Biscuits: 2 large (store-bought or homemade) – Soft, flaky biscuits serve as the sandwich base.
  • Butter: 1 tablespoon – Adds richness to the scrambled eggs and helps cook them to perfection.

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) if you’re baking your biscuits from scratch. If you’re using store-bought biscuits, follow the instructions on the packaging.
  2. Combine Ingredients: While the biscuits bake, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, scramble the eggs, adding butter to make them creamy.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Cut the freshly baked biscuits in half and toast them lightly in the oven or in the skillet to give them a crispy texture.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Place a slice of cheddar cheese on the bottom half of each biscuit. Top with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and the top half of the biscuit.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Toast the assembled sandwiches in the skillet for about 1–2 minutes to melt the cheese and warm the biscuits.
  6. Finishing Touches: Add any extra toppings you like, such as hot sauce or avocado, for extra flavor.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve your Egg Biscuit warm with a side of fruit or hash browns for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Scramble the eggs gently – For the creamiest eggs, cook them slowly over low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Use fresh biscuits – Warm, freshly baked biscuits will melt the cheese and make the sandwich more delicious.
  • Don’t overcook the bacon – Bacon should be crisp but not burnt. Adjust the heat as necessary.
