A crisp and refreshing cucumber lime cooler made with fresh cucumber slices, bright lime juice, a touch of honey, and chilled water. Light, hydrating, and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy, this drink is ideal for warm days or whenever you need a cooling boost.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4 to 5 limes)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or sugar, adjusted to taste
  • 1 to 2 cups ice cubes
  • 8 to 10 fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill a pitcher and serving glasses in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  2. In the chilled pitcher, combine the fresh lime juice and honey or sugar. Stir until the sweetener fully dissolves.
  3. Add the cold water to the pitcher and mix well to blend the flavors evenly.
  4. Add the thinly sliced cucumber and fresh mint leaves. Let the mixture infuse for at least 10 minutes for deeper flavor.
  5. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the cucumber lime mixture over the ice, ensuring each glass gets a few cucumber and lime slices.
  7. Serve immediately while cold and refreshing.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness depending on the tartness of your limes.
  • For a smoother texture, blend the cucumber and strain before mixing.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
