A luxurious and refreshing fruit salad folded into a velvety, cardamom-spiced whipped cream base, perfect as a cooling dessert or side dish.

  • 2 large red apples, diced small
  • 3 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions

  1. Place a large mixing bowl and whisk in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
  2. Prepare all fruit by washing, drying thoroughly, and dicing into uniform pieces.
  3. In the chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and ground cardamom until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the diced apples, sliced bananas, and halved grapes into the whipped cream using a spatula.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish the top with pomegranate seeds.
  6. Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to eat.

Notes

  • Ensure all fruit is completely dry before adding to the cream to prevent a watery consistency.
  • For a bit of crunch, add chopped pistachios or almonds just before serving.
  • If not serving immediately, wait to add the pomegranate seeds to keep the cream white.
