This Creamy Chocolate Tiramisu is a luscious, no-bake dessert layered with rich chocolate-soaked cake and fluffy mascarpone cream. Topped with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder, it’s the perfect individual treat that’s both elegant and effortless.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 12 small pieces chocolate cake or chocolate ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee or espresso (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters to prepare for whipping the cream.
  2. In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese with vanilla extract and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Mix milk with instant coffee if using, and lightly dip the chocolate cake or ladyfingers into it.
  5. Layer the soaked cake pieces at the bottom of clear glass cups.
  6. Spoon or pipe a layer of mascarpone cream over the cake. Repeat if cups are tall enough.
  7. Top with a swirl of whipped cream, dust with cocoa powder, and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Use a piping bag for clean, beautiful cream swirls.
  • Chill overnight for deeper flavor development.
  • Dust cocoa powder just before serving to avoid absorption.
