A fresh and colorful slaw combining crisp cabbage, tart apples, sweet cranberries, and a creamy dressing, perfect as a side or light meal.

  • 3 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 cup julienned carrots
  • 1 cup diced red apple
  • 1 cup diced green apple
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Set out your mixing bowls and utensils.
  2. In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, purple cabbage, carrots, apples, cranberries, and pecans.
  3. In a smaller bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and honey until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss thoroughly to coat.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Give it a final toss before serving and garnish with extra cranberries or pecans if desired.
