A layered homemade version of the Cheesecake Factory favorite, this Oreo cheesecake features a chocolate cake base, creamy Oreo-stuffed cheesecake, cookies and cream mousse, and fluffy chocolate whipped frosting. Pure indulgence in every bite.

  • Chocolate Cake Base:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • Cheesecake Layer:
  • 3 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 12 whole Oreo cookies
  • Cookies and Cream Mousse:
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 crushed Oreo cookies
  • Chocolate Whipped Frosting:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Garnish: Whole Oreo cookies (6)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add egg, milk, oil, and vanilla. Stir in boiling water. Pour into pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and sour cream. Pour over cooled cake. Press in 12 whole Oreos.
  4. Bake at 325°F for 50–60 minutes or until set. Cool in the oven with the door cracked, then chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Whip cream and powdered sugar to stiff peaks. In another bowl, blend cream cheese and vanilla. Fold whipped cream and crushed Oreos into the cream cheese mixture. Spread mousse over chilled cheesecake.
  6. For frosting, whip all ingredients until fluffy. Pipe swirls on top and garnish with whole Oreos.
  7. Chill until ready to serve. Slice with a hot knife for clean cuts.

Notes

  • Let each layer cool before adding the next to maintain structure.
  • Chill overnight for best texture and flavor.
  • Use full-fat cream cheese for best results.
