This cold whisked matcha latte is a refreshing, creamy, and energizing drink made in minutes using a frother. Perfect for hot days or a gentle caffeine boost, it’s smooth, earthy, and totally customizable.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder (ceremonial grade preferred)
  • 23 tablespoons cold water
  • 3/4 to 1 cup milk of choice (almond, oat, dairy, etc.)
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup, honey, or sweetener (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Sift matcha powder into a small bowl or cup.
  2. Add cold water and whisk vigorously using a frother or whisk until smooth and slightly foamy.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the milk and sweetener if using.
  4. Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the milk to create a layered effect.
  5. Stir if desired and enjoy immediately.
