Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another, whisk sugar, milk, egg, oil, and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar over the batter. Add remaining batter on top, then the rest of the cinnamon-sugar. Swirl gently with a knife or skewer.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Finishing Touches: Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
