Ingredients

  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Place chopped chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl.
  2. Heat cream in a saucepan until just simmering, then pour over the chocolate.
  3. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir gently until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour mixture into a shallow dish and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
  5. Scoop out small portions and roll into balls between your palms.
  6. Roll each ball in cocoa powder until fully coated.
  7. Chill again until ready to serve, or serve immediately at room temperature.
