  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to form a thick dough.
  6. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, then cool completely.
  8. Heat the cream until warm, pour over chocolate chips, and stir until smooth.
  9. Spread ganache over cooled cookies and let set before serving.
