Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Crescent Bake

A warm, comforting casserole featuring tender chicken, crisp broccoli, melted cheddar cheese, and buttery crescent rolls—perfect for a quick family dinner or potluck.

Ingredients

  • Cooked Chicken: 2 cups, shredded or diced
  • Broccoli Florets: 2 cups, lightly steamed
  • Crescent Roll Dough: 1 tube (8 oz)
  • Cream of Chicken Soup: 1 can (10.5 oz)
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese: 1 ½ cups
  • Garlic Powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Salt & Pepper: To taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix chicken, broccoli, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
  3. Open crescent dough and separate into triangles. Line bottom of dish with half the dough, pinching seams to form a crust.
  4. Spread chicken mixture evenly over dough layer.
  5. Top with remaining crescent dough triangles, sealing seams.
  6. Sprinkle remaining ½ cup cheese on top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until top is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked or rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • Thaw dough slightly before unrolling to prevent tearing.
  • Add extra veggies like mushrooms or spinach for variety.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven.
