Ingredients

  • Tostada Shells: 4
  • Black Beans: 1 cup, cooked and seasoned
  • Shredded Cheese: 1 cup, such as Monterey Jack or cheddar
  • Avocado: 1 medium, sliced
  • Hot Sauce or Salsa: 2 tablespoons, optional
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
  • Cumin: ½ teaspoon, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven if crisping tortillas.
  2. Warm black beans in a skillet and season with salt and cumin.
  3. Place tostada shells on a baking sheet if desired for extra crispness.
