Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes

Crispy, golden potato slices made effortlessly in the air fryer with just a handful of ingredients—perfect as a snack or a side dish.

Ingredients

  • Russet Potatoes: 2 large – Their starchy texture crisps up beautifully in the air fryer.
  • Olive Oil: 1 1/2 tablespoons – Helps create that irresistible golden finish.
  • Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon – Adds a savory kick to every bite.
  • Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon – For warmth, color, and mild smoky flavor.
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon – Enhances flavor without overpowering.
  • Black Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon – Adds a subtle heat.
  • Fresh Parsley: 1 tablespoon, chopped – For garnish and a touch of freshness.

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Wash and scrub potatoes, then slice them into 1/8-inch rounds. Soak in cold water for 20–30 minutes, then drain and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: In a mixing bowl, toss the dry potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket—avoid overlapping. Work in batches if needed.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes, flip each slice, and cook an additional 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Finishing Touches: Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately while hot and crisp—great on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use uniform slices to ensure even cooking.
  • Soak and dry slices thoroughly to remove starch and improve crisping.
  • Season lightly before cooking, and adjust flavors afterward.
