Air Fryer Cheesy Taco Bombs

Air Fryer Cheesy Taco Bombs are golden biscuit pockets stuffed with seasoned beef, melty cheese, and taco flavor — all crisped to perfection in the air fryer. Great as appetizers or a quick meal!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
  • Optional: sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for dipping

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and salsa. Simmer for 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese in the center of each.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal. Shape into balls.
  5. Brush each taco bomb with beaten egg.
  6. Place in an air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dips.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill or they may burst while cooking.
  • Use pre-cooked shredded chicken or beans for a variation.
  • Brush with melted butter after air frying for extra richness.
